Below are listed some of the main assests from which we benefit in our activities - regarding knowledge as well as practical instruments:

METHODOLOGIES

• Accredited for the French 'High Environmental Quality' green building rating system.
• Accredited for the American 'Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design' (LEED) green building rating system.

• Officially trained by the French Agency for Environment and Energy Management (ADEME) for the use of the Bilan Carbone methodology (greenhouse gas emissions reduction strategies) and advice over implementation of Territorial Climate and Energy Plans (TCEP).
• Officially trained by the ADEME in the field of Sustainable Urban Development
  

• Trained by the National Institute of Solar Energy for solar PV and solar thermal project design and implementation.
  

• Meteorological data: Member of Sat-light (solar radiations, DJU, etc.)

SOFTWARE

Some of the programs mentioned are specific to the North American or European market and are particular to government incentive programs currently offered. Others are tools that have been developed by IES (for consumption telemonitoring, building static simulation etc.) in order to perform simulations on buildings presenting an opportunity of renewable energy implementation. Whether the project is based on feasibility, design or retrofit, these tools will allow IES to determine the accuracy and ultimate performance of proposed projects in advance of capital investment.
