Nicolas NATH

Directeur - Responsable Pôle Carbone

Ingénieur de formation (Queen’s University, Canada) et spécialisé en maîtrise d’énergie, 8 ans d’expérience diversifiée, conception, production, contrôle qualité et management de projet.

Animateur d’équipe d’ingénieurs et chef d’entreprise, il est passionné par le développement durable dans toutes ses dimensions (sociale, sociétale, performance durable des entreprises, environnement, fournisseurs, engagement personnel...), réchauffement climatique. Il a vécu et travaillé en France, Canada, Inde et Chine, et parle plusieurs langues couramment. Son réseau de contacts à l’international lui permet de se tenir au courant des dernières technologies.

Depuis début 2006, il a développé l’activité d‘Internat Energy Solutions pour conseiller ses clients et les orienter vers les solutions les plus pertinentes en termes économiques et d'environnement.

Vincent PROVOT

Responsable Pôle Innovation

Ingénieur Arts et Métiers de formation à dominante mécanique et énergétique, il s'est orienté très tôt vers les métiers liés au développement durable dans la construction. Avant de travailler en bureau d'études et d'intégrer Internat Energy Solutions en 2007, il a consacré plusieurs années à des démarches de sensibilisation / information / conseil à destination d'élus, du grand public, des scolaires et des professionnels. Les enjeux de la maîtrise de l'énergie et de la qualité environnementale des bâtiments dans un contexte urbain étaient abordés, une grande connaissance de la HQE, du BBC, des EnR et du contexte énergétique a ainsi été acquise.

Aujourd'hui responsable du bureau de Pau et responsable de la Qualité Environnementale des Bâtiments, il possède également la compétence Bilan Carbone® et Plan Climat. A suivi une formation de l'IPTIC sur la Haute Qualité Environnementale (HQE). Certifié pour le Diagnostic de Performance Énergétique (DPE).

Guillaume BAUCHOT

Responsable Pôle Construction durable

Ingénieur INSA spécialisé en CVC, Guillaume a directement mis à profit ses compétences techniques dans le domaine de la maitrise de l’énergie et de la performance environnementale afin d’allier innovation, technique et éthique. Passionné par la construction durable au sens large, et notamment par les techniques de construction de bâtiments passifs, il a une vision globale des projets, de la conception à l’exploitation, lui permettant de proposer et concevoir des solutions viables pour le chantier, pérennes pour l’exploitation, et à faible impact environnemental.

Après 2 ans d’expérience dans un grand groupe d’ingénierie Français en accompagnement de Maitres d’ouvrages publics et privés dans leurs démarches environnementales, il est actuellement responsable du pôle Construction durable à Internat Energy Solutions. Il travaille aujourd’hui avec la double casquette AMO Construction durable / MOE Construction durable, principalement sur des projets publics d’envergure régionale (Médiathèque de Pau, Chambre des Métiers et de l’Artisanat à Bayonne, Lycée Kastler à Bordeaux, …).

Lucien PAPAYA

Responsable Pôle Énergie

Issu d'une formation d'ingénieur par apprentissage (option génie industriel), il s'est spécialisé tout au long de son cursus dans les énergies renouvelables.

Sa formation effectuée en alternance avec le bureau d'études Internat Energy Solutions lui a donné l'opportunité de se spécialiser dans le domaine du solaire thermique et de l'optimisation énergétique des bâtiments. Sa volonté est de mieux valoriser les énergies renouvelables par un travail de maîtrise de l'énergie en amont, selon la philosophie "Negawatt".

Maîtrise les outils Pléiades, Comfie et Design Builder, ainsi que le suivi de réalisation et de maintenance des installations solaires thermiques et PV.

Renaud MOUKOKO

Ingénieur Énergie

Issu d’une formation de DUT Génie Thermique et Energie, il a acquis de nombreuses connaissances dans le domaine de l’étude thermique, de la climatisation et des énergies renouvelables.

Aujourd’hui poussé par son désir de développer ses compétences dans le domaine des énergies renouvelables, il poursuit son cursus au sein de l’école des Mines d’Albi Carmaux, en alternance dans l’équipe du bureau d’études Internat Energy Solutions. Durant sa formation, il aura l’occasion de développer ses compétences dans le domaine de la maîtrise de l’énergie et des nouveaux matériaux pour le bâtiment.

Simon BURIN DES ROZIERS

Ingénieur Pôle Carbone

Simon est ingénieur de l’INSA (Institut National des Sciences Appliqués) de Lyon (2011) et spécialisé dans le génie énergétique et environnement. Ses connaissances académiques incluent : mécanique des fluides, transfert de chaleur, thermodynamique, traitement des déchets…

Après deux années d’études en anglais, dont une à l’Université Technique du Danemark à Copenhague (2009/2010), il parle aujourd’hui couramment anglais.

Son rôle au sein d’IES est concentré autour de la problématique carbone, ses impacts et conséquences ainsi que les solutions permettant de lutter contre le réchauffement climatique. En collaboration avec Vincent Provot et Nicolas Nath, il réalise des Bilans Carbone® et des diagnostics d’émissions de gaz à effet de serre de différentes structures, allant de la collectivité locale au secteur privée. Il participe également au développement d’outils et solutions innovants afin de répondre aux problématiques énergétiques et climatiques globales d’aujourd’hui.

Nathalie ESCURET

Responsable Communication

Ingénieur en thermique-énergétique de formation et spécialisée en administration des entreprises / gestion / marketing. 15 ans d’expérience diversifiée : assistance technique, développement, gestion et suivi de comptes clients, marketing produits et proposition de solutions adaptées aux marchés cibles, coordination de projets.

Depuis fin 2008 pour Internat Energy Solutions, elle est chargée du développement marketing et commercial en assurant la promotion de la maîtrise de l’énergie, de la démarche environnementale, des énergies renouvelables auprès des donneurs d’ordre. Elle conseille ses clients et les oriente vers les solutions les plus pertinentes en terme économique et environnemental, dans le respect des principes de sobriété et d’efficacité énergétique, l’objectif étant de réduire notre dépendance aux énergies fossiles.

Dorian CAVÉ

Développement international / Représentant Bureau Chine

Diplômé du Master "Affaires Internationales" de l’Institut des sciences politiques de Paris, en spécialité "Environnement, développement durable et risques" — formation concentrée sur la question du modèle de développement actuel de la Chine.

Représentant d’IES à Pékin, en charge du développement du plan commercial de la branche "Chine" : mise en place de partenariats, développement des premiers projets, localisation de la démarche Bilan Carbone, etc.

Andrea SABELLI

MA

Andrea has a Bachelor of Arts in Human Environment from Concordia University (2008) and a Master of Arts in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Toronto (2009). Her thesis work examined the carbon market, and forestry offset projects in the Peruvian Amazon. Specifically, exploring how such projects are developed and the ability of small-scale farmers to participate in the carbon trade.

Andrea has extensive knowledge and experience concerning the topics of: climate change; energy and forestry policies; renewable energy solutions and land management practices; and carbon markets from a regulatory and voluntary perspective. Her role at Internat Energy Solutions Canada (IESC) involves developing emission factors for use within Bilan Carbone®, a GHG emissions tool. This tool will eventually be applied in North American GHG quantification projects. With the support of the IESC technical team, Andrea also conducts GHG verifications for quantification projects.

Chris PALIS

MES, BScE. (Mech), LEED AP

Chris has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with Professional Internship from Queen's University (2003) and a Master of Environmental Studies with a graduate diploma in Business and the Environment (2010) from York University. His thesis work examined the effectiveness of the Ontario Power Authority's Renewable Energy Standard Offer Program in relation to other leading jurisdictions with renewable energy incentive programs.

Chris has extensive knowledge and experience concerning the topics of: the OPA FIT Program; technical and financial analysis of renewable energy systems; developing project scope, budget, and timing; developing analytical process flow; and technical report composition. His primary roles at IESC involves managing all project work related to renewable energy, reviewing IESC reports for quality, and advising junior staff. Chris uses his knowledge, developed through years of experience in engineering consulting, to provide input for all areas of the company.

Erick LACHAPELLE

PhD

Erick has a Bachelor of Social Science in Political Science and Public Policy from the University of Ottawa (2002) and PhD in Political Science from the University of Toronto (2011). His dissertation focused on climate change policy, specifically on carbon pricing in the OECD. Erick has published several conference papers, research projects and has been lecturing on themes related to energy security and climate change.

Erick has previously worked as a research associate and policy analyst in Ottawa for several federal government departments, including Natural Resources Canada, and a public policy think tank, the Public Policy Forum.

Kevin TSE

B.Sc., M.E.S.

Kevin has a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Biology from the University of Toronto (2008) and a Master of Environment and Sustainability from the University of Western Ontario (2010).

Kevin is responsible for the development of IESC's GHG Emissions Calculator. Using software programming, he develops the ideas and input from the technical team to create a user-friendly innovative GHG emissions tool. Kevin's responsibilities include supporting other GHG projects at IESC consisting of: verification; quantification; and emissions factor research. Kevin has professional experience in GHG quantification and Strategic Sustainable Development.

Livio NICHILLO

LEED AP, P.Eng

Livio has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with Professional Internship from Queen's University (2003) and is a Master of Engineering candidate at the University of Toronto (expected 2011). He was granted a Professional Engineer license in the province of Ontario in July of 2007.

Livio is the CEO and Engineering Manager of IESC. In addition to his duties as CEO, he is very active in the company's marquee projects and provides technical knowledge on GHG emission projects for both voluntary and regulated markets. His prior professional experience was internationally oriented while working as an engineer in France and China.

Nicolas NATH

BScE

Nicolas has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics from Queen’s University (2002). He is specialized in energy efficiency and renewable energy with eight years of experience in design; production; quality control; and project management. Nicolas is personally committed to sustainable development through his interest work focused on energy performance. He currently managing a team of engineers at the IES Office in France and has lived and worked in different distinct global regions.

He has developed the activity of Internat Energy Solutions since 2006 to orient clients towards pertinent environmental and economic solutions. He has experience working on sustainable building and energy design strategies for a range of project types including large mixed-used developments, educational facilities and public buildings.

Shawn RUFF

MBSc

Shawn has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics with Professional Internship from Queen's University (2003) and is a Master of Building Science candidate at Ryerson University (expected 2012). His research focuses on Building Science challenges and opportunities in developing sustainable buildings through the transformation of existing properties and development of new construction designs.

Shawn has extensive knowledge and experience concerning the topics of: the Toronto Green Development Standard; energy conservation incentive programs; energy modelling and simulation techniques; technical and financial analysis of energy efficient mechanical and electrical building systems; developing project scope, budget, and timing; and technical report composition. His primary roles at IESC involves managing efficiency and conservation projects; on site building evaluations; client and third party interaction; and project implementation. Shawn has developed excellent project management and communication skills through years of experience in the automotive supply chain industry.

Tony HARAPIN

M.Eng

Tony has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo (1998) and a Masters of Engineering in Engineering and Public Policy from McMaster University (2010). His research project involved examination of technical, economic and policy barriers to deployment of community energy systems in Ontario, including policies to enable energy efficiency and conservation.

Tony has experience with Ontario energy policies as related to conventional and renewable sources including: solar photovoltaic; district energy and CHP based systems. He has expertise in GHG verification and quantification projects; sustainable communities; renewable energy deployment and life-cycle analysis. His role at IESC involves providing support on renewable energy projects and GHG emission quantifications. Tony's previous experience includes commercial design and applications engineering in analog and radio frequency semiconductor industry in both the USA and Canada.

Tristan TRUYENS

M.Eng

Tristan has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from McGill University (2004). His academic focus included: fluid mechanics; dynamics of heat transfer; fluid flow and heat transfer equipment design.

Tristan's role at IESC involves managing various building energy projects with project work scopes relating to energy conservation; energy efficiency; and renewable energy implementation. Tristan's previous experience includes: HVAC analysis; process design and implementation; and nuclear power generation technologies and techniques.

Dorian CAVÉ

IES International Development / China Office Representative

Master's degree in "International Relations" from the Institute of Political Science of Paris, in the specialty "Environment, Sustainable Development and Risks", focusing on China's current development model.

Main IES representative in Beijing, in charge of the development of the "IES China" branch: establishment of partnerships, first projects development, etc.

Jeffrey T. WU

Engineering Manager of China Operations

Jeffrey has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering with Mechatronics option from Queen's University (2002). Jeffrey provides project support on: energy modelling; GHG emission research and calculation; and implementation of renewable energy technologies. He is actively involved with the business planning and development activities of the IES China office in Beijing, China.

Jeffrey's prior work and research experiences involved: real-time control and data acquisition system; robotics, machine vision; and image processing. He has extended software development and programming skills and prides himself as an internationally oriented innovative problem-solver.

SUN Miao

Executive Research Assistant

Graduated from Beijing Normal University (Finance and Economy) and from the Sino-American Program John Hopkins University & Nanjing University (Center for Chinese and American Studies), Master's degree at Capital University of Economics and Business (Demography, Resources and Environmental Economics), Sun Miao is in charge of the research activities conducted at the IES China office. She currently focuses in particular on the regional and national adaptation of the Bilan Carbone® methodology.
